Accreditation
ČIA accreditation No. 1747 proves that our tests are based on verified professional competence and are carried out impartially. We explain what this means in practice and also include the certificate itself.
Independent confirmation of our competence
Accreditation is a formal, independent recognition that a laboratory is competent to perform specific tests — correctly, repeatably and impartially.
It is awarded in the Czech Republic Czech Institute for Accreditation (ČIA) according to the international standard ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025, which sets requirements for the qualification of testing and calibration laboratories. ČIA regularly reviews our procedures, equipment, personnel qualifications and quality management system.
Mutual recognition of accreditations in Europe is supported by the EA MLA agreement. The specific applicability of the results always depends on the product, the standard used, the target market and the downstream process.
Flexible scope of accreditation
From June 2023 we are also accredited with flexible scope. Within pre-defined areas, it allows us to introduce new or modified test procedures without first changing the certificate annex.
Flexible scope does not mean the ability to try any method. Each new or modified procedure will be expertly assessed, validated and included in the current list of activities within a flexible scope prior to use.
