History of the fire testing laboratory

Testing laboratory AFIRE s.r.o. was designated as Notified Body No. 3196.

We have launched the new AFIRE website.

Planning the further development of the fire testing laboratory.

We purchased a plot of land in Buštěhrad with an area of approximately 5,000 m² for the further development of the test facility.

As of January 1, 2024, the independent company AFIRE s.r.o. was established. (IČO 14133555), which continues to use facilities in Klecany.

We have expanded our services to include tests in a smoke control chamber.

In June 2023, we obtained a flexible scope of accreditation, which allows, within defined areas, to introduce new or modified test procedures without first changing the certificate annex.

The testing facility received the name AFIRE.

We have expanded the scope of the accreditation certificate.

We have continuously expanded and improved customer services.

The Fire Testing Laboratory (PZL) has received an accreditation certificate for tests in a vertical test furnace.

We have started indicative tests in the medium-sized miniFUR3 furnace.

We conducted indicative fire tests and tuned processes.

We have started the process of accreditation of the Fire Testing Laboratory (PZL).

We approved and put into operation the AVAPS Fire Test Laboratory (PZL) with its own test furnace and started indicative fire tests.

A development and testing centre was under construction, which included a 5.0 x 3.5 m test furnace for indicative fire resistance tests of building materials and structures.

The development and testing centre project for AVAPS s.r.o. was launched.
