AFIRE s.r.o. is a Notified Body, No. 3196. It is registered in the European Commission's NANDO database for defined third-party tasks in assessing and verifying the constancy of performance of construction products.
Defined third-party tasks under the CPR
As a notified body, we may only carry out the activities and use the procedures specified in the scope of the notification. This is not a general authorisation to assess all construction products.
We operate within horizontal notification for selected test and classification procedures in the field of fire resistance and smoke control.
What do you get as a customer?
Within the scope of notification, we carry out tests and classifications of fire resistance and smoke control as impartial third party.
We publish test reports and classification reports usable in the subsequent process of assessing and verifying the constancy of properties.
Where the applicable rules allow it, we can prepare an extended application of results (EXAP) report after the test and before classification.
We provide construction product manufacturers professional support for the Czech and European markets.
It follows on from our accreditation
Accreditation according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025 confirms the technical competence and impartiality of the laboratory. Notified Body status entitles us to perform defined third party tasks under the CPR to the extent published in the NANDO database.
