The new AFIRE website is live. We rebuilt it from the ground up — structure, texts and technical foundations — so that manufacturers quickly find what they need to know before a test.
What you will find on the site
- Tests and services — fire resistance, smoke control, EXAP and classification, each with the resulting output and the standards applied.
- Laboratory and equipment — the vertical furnace, the smoke control chamber and the medium-scale miniFUR3 furnace, each on its own page.
- How a test works — the whole process in eight steps, from enquiry to the test report and the classification that follows.
- Knowledge base — a glossary, an overview of standards, the fire classification letters, temperature curves and self-closing cycle classes.
- FAQ, downloads and practical information for getting to Klecany.
- Contacts for individual team members, not just a general address.
Six language versions
The site is available in Czech, Slovak, English, German for Germany and Austria, and Polish. We test for manufacturers across Central Europe and want them to find the essentials in their own language.
What comes next
We will keep adding to the site — photographs from tests, further references and new topics in the knowledge base. If something is missing or you spot an error, please let us know.
